Mr. Lubitz is a partner resident in the Tokyo office and a member of the firms Intellectual Property Group.
Mr. Lubitz handles patent matters in all types of technology including biotechnology, business models, chemistry, computers, electronics,
Internet, material science, mechanics, semiconductors, and software.
Mr. Lubitz also counsels clients regarding the complex legal issues that arise in international trade matters,
including regulation of the import and export of goods and services, antidumping, unfair trade practices, U.S. Customs valuation,
classification and country-of-origin matters, and national security matters. Mr. Lubitz has worked in Tokyo since 1996.
He is one of the few U.S. patent attorneys who is a Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi in Japan.
